Beautyland opened in 2022 around a conviction of Dr. Oliver Simmons: that a plastic surgery clinic could choose who it operates on, give every patient the time the decision deserves, and stand behind every result by name. That standard is what the clinic is built on.
The team.
Dr. Anne-Sophie Lessard joined as a breast and hand surgeon trained at McGill and the University of Miami. Dr. Christopher Salgado followed, Professor of Surgery and a reference in reconstruction. In 2026 Dr. Mariana Hoyos joined for body contouring and gluteal surgery. Every addition answers a discipline the clinic set out to master.
What we believe.
We believe the most important hour of any plastic surgery is the one before it, in which the patient and the surgeon decide together whether the work is right. We believe that declining a procedure is sometimes the most important service we offer. We believe that the result of good surgery should read as nature's intention, not the surgeon's.
How we work.
Every BBL at Beautyland is performed under ultrasound guidance, by every one of our surgeons. Follow-up is in person: day 3, week 1, week 4, month 3 and month 6. Our results are published unretouched. Around six hundred surgeries a year between us, almost always after long conversations.

What we believe
Three rules we operate by.
The conversation first.
The first consultation is at minimum one hour, and never a quote. We ask what you want to feel afterwards · not how you want to look. The two questions sound similar. They are not.
The restraint second.
Almost every procedure has an over-correction available within the safe envelope. We almost always decline it. The work that ages well is the work that did not announce itself in the first place.
The recovery third.
The body finds its final shape on its own timing. We do not rush it. We see you on day 3, week 1, week 4, month 3 and month 6, every visit unhurried, every visit free of charge.
