A consultation, never a quote. We may suggest you wait. Sometimes that is the conversation.
We listen.
You sit in an armchair, not on an examination table. We ask what brought you here and what you hope to feel afterwards. We take notes only when it helps us listen better.
We map.
If a procedure is appropriate, we examine the relevant area and discuss the realistic range of result. If a procedure is not appropriate, we say so clearly, and without pressure to convert.
We decide together.
Sometimes we agree to schedule. Often we agree to revisit in six months. Occasionally we agree this is not the right clinic for you, and we recommend who is. None of these is a failed consultation.
